
Diasporic Futures: Thinking Nationally, Living Transnationally
This fall, the USC Dornsife Institute of Armenian Studies will welcome Khachig Tölölyan, one of the founding architects of modern diaspora studies, as its second Seminal Scholar-in-Residence. During his residency, Professor Tölölyan will present three public events at USC. The series will begin on Tuesday, October 13, with “Diasporic Futures: Thinking Nationally, Living Transnationally,” an English-language lecture drawing on decades of scholarship to explore the evolving meanings of nation, diaspora, and transnational belonging.
