4WD Tour: Rainbow Wash & Beyond

Leader: Todd Linke, ABDNHA Volunteer Meet at the ABDNHA parking lot at 9 a.m. to caravan to the Buttes Pass Road trailhead. Stops: Hawk Canyon, Goat Trail, Blowsand Canyon Rd., San Felipe Wash Rd., Borrego Badlands (via Rainbow Wash), Fault Wash, Short Wash, Vista del Malpais, and Thimble Trail, with an optional stop at Font’s Point. Bring food, water, weather-appropriate clothing, a hat, and a chair. Walkie-talkies on channel 2. No charge; registration required at the Nature Center (760-767-3098).
