Really looking forward to Saturday study - it's so important to have a space where we can practice our faith openly

Victoria Herrera · Sep 30

This is nice. My family used to attend but we've felt less welcome lately given everything happening

Jessica Wong · Sep 30

Why should taxpayer money go to support any religious institution? Keep religion out of public spaces

Rosalinda Chavez · Sep 30

Nobody's using taxpayer money here. This is a synagogue event in a community center we rent space from. Show some respect for people's beliefs

Jessica Wong · Oct 1

I'm showing plenty of respect - I'm saying keep ALL religious stuff private. Don't force it on the rest of us

Miguel Pacheco · Oct 1

YOU PEOPLE act like everyone who wants secular spaces hates religion. We don't. We just want neutrality. Why is that so offensive?

Victoria Herrera · Oct 1

@marco.gutierrez92 - calling us out as a group? We're just trying to exist and practice our faith. That's not forcing anything on you

Priya Kapoor · Oct 1

This is ridiculous. Every group gets to meet and celebrate their culture. Why is it always a problem when Jewish folks do it?

Jessica Wong · Oct 1

Oh here we go with the victimhood angle. Nobody said you can't meet, just don't expect special treatment

Patricia Lopez · Oct 1

If you don't like faith communities why don't you move to some godless city where everyone thinks like you

Jessica Wong · Oct 1

Wow, telling me to leave? Real inclusive. Maybe YOU'RE the intolerant ones

Luis Reyes · Oct 1

This thread is exactly why I don't post anymore. Can't we just let people have their events in peace?
