Is there actual parking or do we have to park on the street? Last time I went to a trail event here the lot was full by 8:45
Patricia Chen · Sep 29
@j.sullivan.sd the parking area holds about 40 cars but there's overflow street parking on the main road. I usually arrive early

This looks amazing! Can dogs come? My lab loves hiking

@cris_loves_travel Dogs on leash are totally welcome! Just bring water for them

FREE is always nice but let's be real, Marian Bear is getting packed lately. Went last month and the trail was basically a traffic jam of people

4 miles is a good distance. What's the elevation gain? Trying to figure out if this works for my clients with knee issues
Grace Thompson · Sep 29
@laurenbeck.pt elevation gain is only about 300 ft, very manageable. Great for rehab clients

Can we just appreciate the fact that someone is organizing a free community hike instead of complaining? This is awesome @grace.wellness

@jen.coding I like free too but crowded trails aren't fun for anyone, it's a legitimate concern. Maybe cap attendance?
