Throughlines Through history, through science, through trauma, through memory, our bodies are etched with the lines of our stories. When I immigrated from Ahmednagar, India to the US 30 years ago, my X-rays were stuffed into my suitcase in case of future medical emergencies. Finding them decades later is like finding my body buried beneath layers of silence. Just like an X-ray reveals the unseen architecture of a body; a story can unearth the shifting language of our experiences.
