Definitely coming this Sunday. The reggae scene here is amazing.

Is it just me or does this event give off very specific political vibes? Not sure everyone in the community feels represented.

What the hell does that even mean? Reggae is for everyone. Stop trying to make everything political.

He's right though. There's definitely a message embedded in choosing these artists, the activism vibe, etc. Not everyone agrees with the politics.

Yeah and that's fine. Other events exist for other people. Why does everything need to be watered down to offend nobody?

Because YOUR people have had 400 years of 'watered down.' This community event is for people who've been marginalized. Go to the other hundred events catering to YOU.

@raul.salinas.39 See, this is why moderate people feel alienated. The second anyone questions anything, they're accused of being some kind of bigot.

Actually, if you feel THAT uncomfortable being around people different from you, there are plenty of white bread neighborhoods and events. Move there.

@devon.startups oh wow, so questioning is the same as being uncomfortable with diversity? That's a false choice.

I genuinely just want to hear good music in a happy place. Can we not turn it into World War 3 in the comments?

@lorena.travel seriously. It was a nice event post and now it's THIS.
