Native American Heritage Month: Voices of Indigenous Waters
Join a public conversation bringing together three speakers to explore Kuruvungna Sacred Springs through interconnected historical, cultural, ecological, and urban perspectives. The conversation will consider Gabrielino/Tongva relationships to Kuruvungna and the spring water; the transformation of waterways through the development of the Los Angeles Aqueduct; urban Indigenous water planning; and contemporary practices of native plant and water stewardship.
