  $90 for a coffee tasting event?? That's insane. I get that it's for charity but come on, there's gotta be a limit.

  @luis_h_mechanics it's only $90 because 100% of proceeds go to the scholarship fund. If you actually care about supporting students, this is a good way to do it.

  @luis_h_mechanics yeah I'm with you on this. $90 is a lot for most people, even for charity. Why can't they do tiered pricing?

  @amandac_design There's a parking lot behind the coffee roastery. Free but gets full around noon.

  @sandram_photos I do care about students, but $90 still feels like a lot. There are other ways to fundraise that aren't gatekeeping education support behind an expensive event.

  I went last year and it was amazing! They had samples from 8 different roasters and live music. Definitely worth it imo.
