Really excited about this event! We need to talk about climate action now more than ever. Hope to see a lot of people there.

Going to be there. Looking forward to hearing what local policy changes they're proposing for our neighborhoods.

This is important work. @diego.mex1988 are you going? Would be good to carpool and save on gas lol

Question: will there be parking? The venue location isn't super accessible by transit and I'm trying to figure out logistics.

All this climate talk while we're shipping our manufacturing jobs overseas and importing everything we buy. We're just making ourselves poorer and other countries richer. Meanwhile we destroy our own economy. Makes sense.

@gabi.art.life I understand the concern about jobs, but climate impacts hit our wallets too. Flooding, drought, fires - those have real costs. It's not either/or.

where is parking though?? @ahmed_sd_2022 did you find that info? I'm not going if I have to pay 20 bucks

@amirkhalil.sd those costs aren't real yet. Right now we're just making everything more expensive for working people. It's easy to talk about climate when you're not the one struggling with grocery prices.

@gabi.art.life grocery prices are up across the whole world though, not because of climate policy. But I get the frustration—can we not do this here? Save it for actual discussion at the event maybe?
