Can't wait to see the new gallery space! The artist collective did amazing work converting that warehouse

This is so cool. What time is the reception?
Cristina Reyes · 3d
@emma.craft.sdiego 6-9pm! Bring friends. Local wines and cheese too

I'm glad something creative is going in there but does anyone else think this is gentrification happening in real time? That neighborhood used to be affordable
Jennifer Kowalski · 3d
The artist collective is actually majority local artists of color who grew up in that neighborhood. They bought the space together. Not gentrification, community building

@rosag.style I appreciate what you're saying but rising rents in that area are definitely a thing. Opening an art gallery doesn't cause that but it does attract more development

@m.ramirez.art okay that's actually really good to know. My bad for assuming. What's the admission?
Antonio Delgado · 2d
Can we not do this here? It's an art opening. Just come see the work
Jennifer Kowalski · 2d
@antonio.chef nah, this stuff matters. Where spaces happen and who creates them is literally about art and community
