Coffee and Conversations

Salley Mavor will talk about her long career creating imaginative miniature worlds with three-dimensional embroidery. Her presentation will explore a wide range of artistic endeavors, including children’s book illustration, stand-alone artwork, and stop-motion animation, demonstrating that there are no limits to what can be expressed with a needle and thread. Go behind the scenes of Mavor’s creative process and learn where it began, how it’s evolved, and what continues to inspire her work.
